MSU Conducts a Study Visit on Social Return on Investment (SROI) at Suranaree University of Technology

On May 27, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Prayook Srivilai, President of Mahasarakham University, along with Prof. Anongrit Keangraeng, Vice President for Infrastructure Development, Research, and Innovation, and Asst. Prof. Kanokporn Rattanasuteragul, Vice President for Finance and Supplies, led the Academic Service Management Committee, executives, and staff from the Office of Research Promotion and Academic Services at Mahasarakham University on a study visit to Suranaree University of Technology in Nakhon Ratchasima province. The visit focused on “Driving Innovation for Social Engagement towards Sustainability in Social Return on Investment (SROI) and Integrating University Missions with Social Service.”

Assoc. Prof. Anan Tongraar, President of Suranaree University of Technology, welcomed the visiting delegation and presented the university’s academic service management practices. The presentation covered various topics, including driving innovation for social engagement towards sustainability through Social Return on Investment (SROI), integrating university missions with social service, and legal and regulatory aspects related to managing academic services.

Following the presentation, the delegation visited the university’s cannabis cultivation area and agricultural learning center. Mahasarakham University plans to use the insights gained from this visit to guide the improvement and application of their academic service management, aiming to enhance clarity and efficiency in their processes and mechanisms.
