MSU Welcomes the Education Counselor and First Secretary of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China

On June 3, 2024, at 09:30 AM, MSU executives led by Assoc.Prof. Prayook Srivilai, Acting President of Mahasarakham, along with the university administrators from the Faculty of Education, warmly welcomed Miss Su Lan, Education Counselor, and Miss Wang Huan, First Secretary from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Thailand.

The visit aimed to exchange knowledge and promote the teaching and learning of Chinese language and culture. Additionally, the visit focused on closely monitoring the education, health, and learning efficiency of Chinese students studying at MSU. This initiative is intended to strengthen the collaboration and ties between educational institutions of both countries and to promote high-quality educational development.

Mr. Lin Haoye, Director of the Confucius Institute at Mahasarakham University (Chinese side), led the Education Counselor and the First Secretary from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Thailand on a visit to the Confucius Institute at Mahasarakham University. They also toured the 2nd floor of the Office of Academic Resources building at the Srisawat Service Unit, Faculty of Education, MSU. The purpose was to inspect the site for planned renovations of the library to create a study and research space in order to optimize the use of existing space, increasing the area available for MSU students to read and study.
