MSU welcomes Japanese students from Tenri University, Japan
On 13 February 2023, Dr. Sarinthree Udchachone, Assistant to the President for International Affairs and Global Image and Mrs. Nataya Chomphutsa, Director of Public Relations and International Affairs, MSU welcomed a group of Japanese students from Tenri University, Japan in the occasion of language and cultural exchange program between Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, MSU and Tenri University. Asst. Prof. Dr. Wichaya Yoshida, a Japanese Language lecturer of MSU was a coordinator of this exchange program, and she introduced 26 Japanese students and the following 3 faculties from Tenri University; Assoc. Prof. Katsuyoshi Sekimoto, Assoc. Prof. Piyada Chonlaworn and Mr. Masafumi Adachi meeting with MSU administrators at MISC 2, 2nd floor, MSU Staff Club. The group of students had a schedule to do local activities at the Learning Center of Pla Bu Ban Palang Panya, Wapee Pathum district, Maha Sarakham province from 12 – 17 February 2023. This ongoing project is under a collaboration between MSU and Tenri University. The Japanese students will have a chance to learn local tradition and culture and exchange experiences with MSU students and local people in each village of Maha Sarkham province.
