MSU Undergraduate Students Win Music & Marching Arts International Contest
On July 5, 2023, undergraduate students studying at the College of Music, MSU, attended the Music & Marching Arts International Contest, organized by International Music & Marching Association, and won the award for Standstill Drumline and Percussion Ensemble. The event was held at Khon Kaen University. The winning band, named “MSU Drumline”, won a Golden Medal prize and “MSU Percussion Ensemble” won a Silver Medal prize.
Members of the two bands are undergraduate students majoring in Percussion, Department of Western Music. The bands are managed and organized by Mr. Watcharakorn Chansuk, a lecturer of Percussion, College of Music, MSU.
