MSU Participates in the 16th International Invention and Innovation Show, INTARG 2023, Republic of Poland
On May 24, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prayook Srivilai, President of Mahasarakham University, assigned Assoc. Prof. Dr. Keartisak Sriprateep, Manager of the Industrial Cooperation Center, to lead a group of researchers in showcasing international innovations at the 16th International Invention and Innovation Show, INTARG 2023. The event took place at the International Congress Centre MCK Katowice in the Republic of Poland from May 24-25, 2023. Dr. Wiparat De-Ong, Executive Director of the National Research Council of Thailand, also delivered a speech about Thailand’s inventions and innovations displayed at INTARG, featuring over 29 items in 2023.
The National Research Council of Thailand and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation selected Mahasarakham University to participate in the competitions and exhibitions with three works, which included:
- A display of innovation for the production of organic fertilizer aimed at community development.
- A pilot plant for the production of GABA-RS rice.
- A semi-automatic loom designed to preserve Thai brocade.
All three works are ready for production and commercial use and have received support from the budget allocated to improve the level of community enterprises. These innovations have been developed using actual machines provided by the National Research Council of Thailand through business partnership networks established by Mr. Rapee Boonbutr, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Artith Machinery Company Ltd.
On the same day, the participants had the pleasure of welcoming Her Excellency Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, the Ambassador of Thailand to Warsaw, who was honored to visit Mahasarakham University’s inventions at INTARG 2023 in Poland.
