MSU attends Thailand Research Expo 2023
The Division of Research Facilitation and Dissemination, Mahasarakham University, attended the Thailand Research Expo 2023, which took place from August 7 to August 11, 2023, at the 22nd floor exhibition room of Centara Grand Hotel and Bangkok Convention Center, CentralWorld, Bangkok. An MSU research group, led by Prof. Dr. Sirithon Siriamornpun, Faculty of Technology, participated in an exhibition on “Modern Northeastern Cuisine” where they presented a research project titled “Innovation in Promoting Edible Insects (Thai Crickets) for Utilization”. This included an exhibition booth, showcasing products and research outcomes related to edible insects, which was visited by Dr. Wiparat De-ong, Director of the National Research Council of Thailand. On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, Prof. Dr. Sirithon Siriamornpun was invited to be a speaker for the panel discussion of the event.
On Thursday, August 10, 2023, Asst. Prof. Dr. Naris Sinsiri, Assistant to the President for Agriculture and Intelligent Farming Development, represented the MSU president in receiving an honor from the research network unit (the event organizers). This was part of the effort to develop the country’s research personnel under the project “Creating a New Generation of Researchers” (Young Researchers) led by Dr. Wiparat De-ong, the Director of the National Research Council, at the stage.
