MSU Welcomes Visiting Professors from Cambodia and the UK
On July 4, 2024, Mahasarakham University, represented by Assoc.Prof. Prayook Srivilai, Acting President, warmly welcomed Prof. Ross H. Andrews, Professor of Parasitology at the Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London, UK, and Dr. Mak Sithirith from the Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This occasion marked their participation in the international collaboration project with distinguished foreign experts aimed at advancing research excellence and international reputation enhancement. The event ran from June 27 to July 10, 2024, at Mahasarakham University.
The objective of this project was to foster international collaboration between MSU’s own professors and researchers, and globally renowned experts. This effort will enhance MSU’s global reputation by establishing specialized research hubs focused on biological diversity. Asst.Prof. Sudarat Thanonkeo, Director of Walai Rukhavej Botanical Research Institute, MSU, led fellow faculty members and the renowned experts to meet with the MSU Acting President. They had a great discussion about exploring opportunities to work together on research projects and develop educational programs. Building connections and sharing knowledge is key to achieving mutual growth.
