MSU Students Participate in International Workshop on Disaster Prevention and Mitigation and Flash Flood Prevention in Lancang-Mekong Countries
The Faculty of Engineering of Mahasarakham University has cooperated with Hohai University, China organizing the International Workshop on Disaster Prevention and Mitigation and Flash Flood Prevention in Langcang-Mekong Countries. There are 181 engineering students attending this workshop which has been organized from October 17–20, 2023.
On October 17, 2023, there was an opening ceremony of the international workshop. Participants of this opening ceremony included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prayook Srivilai, President of Mahasarakham University, Dr. Sarinthree Udchachone, Assistant to the President for International Affairs and Global Image, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Keartisak Sripratepp, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krit Chaimoon, Dean of the Graduate School, lecturers, supporting staff and students of the faculty. The opening ceremony was organized both online and onsite. MSU participants attended onsite at Meeting Room EN-217, Faculty of Engineering, MSU.
The total number of participants of this workshop include 650 students from five countries in the Lancang-Mekong area. The workshop is free of charge and all participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
