MSU Shared 18th Ranking Among Thai Universities in QS Asia Rankings 2025

In the QS Asia University Rankings 2025, Mahasarakham University (MSU) has been jointly ranked 18th among Thai universities, 751-800th in Asia, and 131st in Southeast Asia. This reflects MSU’s commitment to maintaining international standards in education and research.

In 2025, a total of 984 universities across Asia participated in the rankings, with 142 new entrants. In Thailand, 34 universities participated, including 9 new entrants. The rankings were based on the following indicators:

  1. Staff with PhD: ranked 386th
  2. International Faculty Ratio: ranked 396th
  3. Academic Reputation: ranked 401+
  4. Employer Reputation: ranked 401+
  5. International Student Ratio: ranked 444th
  6. Citations per Paper: ranked 501+
  7. Faculty Student Ratio: ranked 501+
  8. Inbound Exchange Students: ranked 501+
  9. International Research Network: ranked 501+
  10. Outbound Exchange Students: ranked 501+
  11. Papers per Faculty: ranked 501+

This achievement is a result of the collaborative efforts of all faculties, academic staff, students, and administrators, who have worked together to produce high-quality research that addresses the needs of society and industry, as well as developing curricula to meet the demands of the job market.
