MSU Folk Dance and Music Club Participates in the 23rd Higher Education Arts and Culture Festival

The Pong Lang Folk Music Band from the Folk Dance and Music Club (Wong Khaen), MSU, participated in the 23rd Higher Education Arts and Culture Festival under the theme “Yo Yot Sip Pa Sin, Naritthaya Phiphat: 12 Decades of Rajabhat Ayutthaya.” The event was hosted by Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University from January 31st to February 1st, 2025, aiming to foster cultural exchange among institutions and raise awareness among students about the significance of performing arts and local wisdom, which have been passed down through generations.

On this occasion, MSU presented a Pong Lang folk music performance, featuring a special tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, as well as a “Toey Chom Mueang Mahasarakham” performance, promoting tourism in Mahasarakham Province.

The Higher Education Arts and Culture Festival was established to promote and preserve Thai arts and culture, which are rich in diversity across different regions of the country. Each region has its own unique identity and charm, attracting people to experience various forms of artistic expression, including performing arts, musical arts, and visual arts.
