Faculty of Law Awards Certificates to Chinese Students Who Completed Short-Term Course in Business Law for Trade and Investment
On November 29, 2024, the Faculty of Law, MSU, held a ceremony to present certificates to the 19 Chinese students who successfully completed the short-term course titled “Business Law for Trade and Investment”. Asst. Prof. Dr. Darika Phothiruk, Dean of the Faculty of Law, presided over the ceremony. Faculty administrators and staff also attended to congratulate the students on their completion of the program, which was organized by the Faculty of Law at Mahasarakham University. The 60-hour course took place from September 1 to November 30, 2024, lasting for a period of three months.
The short-term training program “Business Law for Trade and Investment Certificate” is a collaboration between Guangxi Normal University and the Confucius Institute at MSU. In total 19 law students from Guangxi Normal University participated in the program, which included both theoretical and practical training. The theoretical portion of the course covered 45 hours of instruction in Thai Legal History, Thai Legal Language, Law on Business Organization and Investment, and Laws on Thai-Isan Cultural Heritage. The practical component involved 15 hours of field study as prescribed by the curriculum.
Upon completion, participants gained a solid understanding of business law for trade and investment, as well as related laws. This knowledge enables them to further develop into business entrepreneurs and provides a clear understanding of the Thai legal system and procedures for conducting business in Thailand.
