BioSat 2025 Building an International Academic Network for a Sustainable Future

The Faculty of Technology, in collaboration with the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, and the Walai Rukhavej Botanical Research Institute of Mahasarakham University (MSU), hosted the 2nd International Conference on Biodiversity, Science, and Technology (BioSat) in 2025 under the theme “The Bio-Circular-Green Model for a Sustainable Future.”

The event was inaugurated by Assoc. Prof. Prayook Srivilai, Acting President of Mahasarakham University, with Assoc. Prof. Sumonwan Chumchuere, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, leading over 200 participants from Thailand and abroad, including representatives from the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Indonesia, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the Republic of Korea. The conference took place on January 16-17, 2025, at D Varee Jomtien Beach Hotel, Pattaya, Chonburi Province.

The purpose of the event was to serve as a platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences in biodiversity, science, and technology. It also aimed to disseminate academic and research achievements, broadening their application while fostering collaboration among domestic and international researchers. This initiative sought to establish a robust academic network capable of becoming a national and international reference. The conference featured a total of 76 presentations, including 30 oral presentations and 46 poster presentations.

BioSat 2025 represents a significant step for MSU in promoting research and development, showcasing its commitment to creating innovations to address environmental and social challenges.
