MSU Music Festival & Walking Street 2024
The Student Organization of Mahasarakham University hosted the MSU Music Festival & Walking Street 2024, with Asst. Prof. Monrodee Chaowarat, Vice President for Student Affairs and University Council Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony. She also took the opportunity to explore the event, visiting various product stalls and exhibits at the lawn in front of the Student Development Building, Division of Student Affairs, MSU.
Mr. Jittiwat Jaengkhampee, President of the Student Organization of Mahasarakham University, stated that the MSU Music Festival & Walking Street 2024 is scheduled to take place in two phases: the first from November 29 to December 1, 2024, and the second from December 19 to 21, 2024. The event aims to provide a platform for students to express themselves creatively through musical performances and to promote student entrepreneurship, helping them develop into new-generation entrepreneurs and contribute to the community. The event features product sales, exhibitions, music performances, and art displays, such as live music by MSU students, stalls by student entrepreneurs, motivational booths by the Student Organization, and a cover dance competition.
Asst. Prof. Monrodee Chaowarat further added that MSU is an educational institution that supports and encourages students to express themselves in various fields, including providing opportunities for students to earn income while studying and training to become entrepreneurs. The MSU Music Festival & Walking Street project is therefore another avenue for students and staff to generate additional income. Moreover, it serves as a platform for students to showcase their musical talents. In addition to promoting income generation for staff and students, the event also opens up opportunities for learning and promotes both physical and mental well-being.
