MSU Provides Relief Packages to Assist Flood Victims in Surrounding Communities

On September 30, 2024, Mahasarakham University (MSU), led by Assoc.Prof. Prayook Srivilai, acting president of Mahasarakham University, assigned Chiraphan Phukhrongphet, director of the central division, along with the volunteers from 904 MSU, staff, and student volunteers to provide assistance to communities affected by flooding in the areas near the university. They traveled to distribute relief packages and anti-fungal ointment for foot diseases at Ban Tha Khonyang, Thakhan Yang Subdistrict, Kantharawichai District, and Ban Don Tum, Kaeng Loeng Chan Subdistrict, Mueang District, Mahasarakham Province, which have been affected by flooding recently.

This fieldwork received cooperation from philanthropists and the general public who contributed essential items such as rice, dried food, and various consumables to support the urgent relief efforts for flood victims. In addition, Mahasarakham University has prepared plans for ongoing community assistance and organized various activities to help boost the morale of the affected communities.

Mahasarakham University sends its best wishes to all disaster victims and hopes that the community can quickly overcome this flooding crisis and return to normal life soon.
