MSU One World Camp 2024
The Office of General Education, Mahasarakham University, organized the MSU One World Camp 2024 from June 24 to July 1, 2024, at Mahasarakham University and in Chiang Mai province. This event aimed to enhance students’ knowledge beyond classroom learning, focusing on both economic and social aspects. It emphasized equality, environmental awareness, and multicultural communication, aiming to foster good global citizens for the future.
Assst.Prof. Anyarat Nattheeraphong, Deputy Director of the General Education Office, MSU, led students from 5 countries—Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, China, and the United Kingdom, totaling 38 participants. The objective was to provide students with new international knowledge and experience that can be applied both to their studies and daily lives.
The Office of General Education at MSU implements a comprehensive strategy to promote and develop foreign language skills and international competencies among its student body. This strategy emphasizes the organization of diverse learning activities for enhancing skills, which are demonstrably crucial in motivating students towards foreign language acquisition and the development of international competencies. Through participation in these activities, students gain valuable knowledge and experience from experts with real-world expertise across various fields. This fosters the development of collaborative skills in intercultural contexts, leading to demonstrably enhanced language proficiency and increased student confidence.
