The Faculty of Medicine, MSU organizes the 19th faculty anniversary and raises Suddhavej Child Development Center as the faculty’s core competency
November 21, 2022, the Faculty of Medicine, MSU organized the annual event on the occasion of the 19th Establishment Anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine at the Somporn Phothanam’s Meeting Room, the Faculty of Medicine, MSU which presided by Asst. Prof. Teabpaluck Sirithanawutichai, M.D., the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, MSU. The anniversary was a memorial occasion and a chance to encourage spirit of the faculty members including administrators, staffs and students. This event was an opportunity to provide rewards for outstanding and dedicated alumni, including outstanding alumni in Health Sciences, Medicine, Applied Thai Traditional Medicine and Paramedic and outstanding alumni for dedicated person and outstanding research rewards. Moreover, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, MSU presented a core competency of the faculty which was a performance report of the Learning Center for Child Development, Breastfeeding Promotion and Integrated Learning for 3 months – 3 years or Suandek Suddhavej.
Suandek Suddahvej is an integrated learning center for children under 3 years which provides nurturing and caring services. Suandek Suddhavej aims to provide excellence child care services and teach children with integrating knowledge of Education, Health Care, Executive Function, Montessori, High Scope, Brain Based learning and Local Wisdom. The child care center has been established for 3 years, and the performance is quite outstanding and well-known among parents who require to develop physical and mental progress of their children. The child care center is emphasizing to become a training center for caregivers and teachers and planning to have curriculum for early childhood development in the near future.
The Faculty of Medicine, MSU has established on November 21, 2003. The faculty aims to conduct high quality research in support of healthcare and medical education and provide an academic service to society that promotes strong and self-sufficient communities together with preserving, restoring, protecting, disseminating, and developing local traditional art, customs and culture. In addition, the faculty provides health care services which has Suddhavej Hospital and Primary Health Care Center for MSU staff, students and other people in Mahasarakham province and other province nearby.
