Mahasarakham University in cooperation with the Friends of Thai Daughters (FTD) launches Activities for MSU-GCC Camp 2019 at Chiang Rai Province 
 
Mahasarakham University by the Office of International Affairs, the Divisions of Public Relations and International Affairs launches the 2019 MSU Global Citizenship Camp activities in the undeveloped area and brings the campers including MSU staff and students with international students from the partner Universities to visit homes and the school of the children who are supported by the Friends of Thai Daughters (FTD) during 2 - 6 August 2019, at Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. 
 
During the activities, The MSU-GCC Campers learn a lot about the living and environment around the children of the Friends of Thai Daughters (FTD), the non-profit organization that works to get rid of Human-trafficking. This is also to collect the information and facts of the children for making video presentation after received the techniques and guidelines through workshop by experts from BBC Thai.
 
The 8th MSU-GCC Camp 2019 is full of significant and provocative escapades that will help future potential leaders to develop and level up their global citizenship skills such as personal acceptance of responsibility and diversity, work together for peace and recognition on others’ world views. The campers will not only gain understanding of Global Citizenship, team building and effective communication, but also learn about human trafficking, one of the world’s most shameful crimes, in an educational setting, specifically in the North of Thailand.
