MSU holds the Songkran Festival 2019
 
On April 10, 2019, Mahasarakham University holds the Songkran Festival 2019 at the President Building, Mahasarakham University.
At the beginning of this festival, Assoc. Prof. Thiensak Mekkapan-opas, the Acting President of Mahasarakham University is the guest of honor with the reported speech from Dr. Monrodee Chaowarat, the Vice-President for Student Development.
 
This Songkran Festival is organized with the purposes to maintain and promote Thai ancient and unique Tradition and culture that is famous among Thai people and foreigners, and also to strengthen a relation between MSU lecturer, staff and students. 
 
There are a lot of fun and enjoyable traditional activities including, Bathing Buddha Images and the Elders, Folk Dance, Miss Songkran Contest, Luk Thung Singing and Dancing Contest.
