MSU holds Academic Conferences on Information Technology

On October 24, 2018, Faculty of Informatics, Mahasarakham University, held a national academic conference (NCIT2018) and international conference (InCIT2018) on information technology, and held the 4th Council of IT Deans of Thailand meeting. Asst. Prof. Sujin Butdisuwan, the Dean of Faculty of Informatics, gave a welcome speech.
Asst. Prof. Sujin Butdisuwan said that these conferences are the collaboration of the deans of both public and private institutions that provide teaching and learning in the field of information technology including: 

- Mahasarakham University
- King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok
- King Mongkut’s University of Technology Ladkrabang
- King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi
- Mahidol University
- Burapha University
- Panyapiwat Institute of Management
- Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus
- Silpakorn University
- Mahanakorn University of Technology
- Walailak University
- Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology
- Sripatum University
- Nakhon Phanom University
- University of Phayao
- Mae Fah Luang University
- Siam University
- Dhurakij Pundit University
- Bangkok University
- Rangsit University.

The conferences were held during October 24 – 25, 2018, at Pullman Khon Kaen Raja Orchid hotel, Khon Kaen Province. These conferences let students, academicians and researchers show their academic project on Information and Communication Technology Knowledge Exchange, their research projects that will be developed to become academic excellence, and their creation of quality academic projects both national and international and the development of academic projects on Informational and Communication Technology in Thailand to international level by the conferences’ theme on “Digital Transformation Towards the Smart Nation”.

The event was presided over by Mr. Pansak Siriruchatapong, Vice Minister of Ministry of Digital Economy and Society. There were lectures from special guests i.e. “Intelligent Virtual Environments for Surgical Training” by Prof. Dr. Peter Haddawy, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University; “Smart Transformation Logistics” by Prof. Dr. Rapeepan Pitakaso, Faculty of Engineering, Ubon Ratchathani University.
