MSU Organizes the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Poetry Contest and the ISAN Literature Contest 2017
 
On September 1, 2017, the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Poetry Contest and the ISAN Literature Contest 2017 were organized by the Department of Thai and Oriental Languages at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Mahasarakham University, Thailand.
 
The contests were presided over by Assist. Prof. Dr. Kanokporn Rattanasuteerakul, dean of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and was reported on the objective by the Head of Department of Thai and Oriental Languages, Dr. Keerati Thanachai. There were 20 schools in the northeast of Thailand participated in the contests.
 
The contests are annually organized to encourage students and citizen to realize, admire the value of a traditional poetry through the competition, and improve their knowledge in Thai literature and local culture. 
 
At the end of the contests, the result was shown that the winner for the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Poetry Contest is Wapipathum School and the winner for the ISAN Literature Contest is Suwannaphum Pittaya Paisan School.
