Community Outreach Program of MSU Faculty of Veterinary Science

On May 9-10, MSU Faculty of Veterinary Science launched its Community Outreach Program 2013 on Animal Health Care around the community of Kantharawichai, Maha Sarakham for the services such as Rabies Vaccination, Injection for External Parasites prevention and Blood Analysis for the prevalence of Blood Parasites in the Area.
From the two days of services to 121 patients, the faculty, staff and students have the opportunity to transfer their expertise to the community by bringing knowledge into consultation and the importance of animal health care and their professional skills. The activity itself provided the public on the recognition of the role of the Veterinary profession. Moreover, this outreach program gave a chance for the group to widened its linkage with other related and unrelated organization and local government offices including municipalities.
