MSU Student team wins award at 9th Thailand Research to Market: R2M (National Competition)
 
On February 13, 2022, the Daisy Glazz – Mahasarakham University Student team won award of 30,000 bath with a plate at the 9th Thailand Research to Market: R2M (National Competition). There were more than 22 teams from 16 universities nationwide. 
 
“Daisy Glazz” is an innovative solar powered glass. Produced by bringing a type of glass through some techniques to have the ability to convert energy from ultraviolet and infrared rays into electricity. It focuses on generating electricity by using photon from ultraviolet and infrared rays because the design does not have electrode, bus bar and grid to cover the area of the glass. In other words, Daisy Glazz is a Solar Panel Transparent.
 
The Daisy Glazz team members include:
Mr. Thanaruk Prosing, Master's degree student in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering with four of Bachelor’s Degree students from Mahasarakham Business School include Mr. Nakharin Pirrom, Miss Jarinya Phochai, Miss Pornthip Phansaeng and Miss Piyapat Seansuk. Advised by Assoc. Prof. Dr.Chonlatee Photong, Lecturer from Faculty of Engineering and Mr. Aapichai Mahatham, Lecturer from Mahasarakham Business School. Supported by University Industry cooperation Center: UIC, Mahasarakham University.
