MSU signs MoU with Thailand Consortium for Atmospheric Research; TCAR
 
At Kamolthip Ballroom, the Sukosol hotel, Bangkok, On November 23, 2020, Asst. Prof. Dr. Teerapat Chompookham, Assistant to President for Research and Development of Na Si Nuan, Mahasarakham University and Dr. Thayukorn Ptabamroong, Vice-Dean of Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Director of Climate Changes Mitigation and Adaptation Research Unit (CMARE), Mahasarakham University signed Memorandum of Understanding with Dr. Saran Poshyachinda, NARIT Executive Director. Prof. Dr. Anek Laothamatas, Minister of Ministry Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation attended this ceremony as a president.

Both parties; between Mahasarakham University and Thailand Consortium for Atmospheric Research have agreed to improve a basic laboratory for study Atmospheric Science and to develop Analysis and Measuring instruments at National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand. This is also to create linking monitoring and processing related data to Atmospheric Science research system, and to plan for adaptation to solve problems of research.

The purposes of all agreements were not only to develop education and research of government sectors, private sectors, and overseas experts by organized orientation, seminar, or work shop. But also to solve Air Pollution and Climate Change by invent instruments for Atmospheric Science research.
