Mahasarakham University Offers Three Innovations to Mahasarakham Hospital to Fight against COVID-19.  
 
On July 20, 2020, at Mahasarakham hospital, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Keartisak Sriprateep, Dean together with lecturers and students from the Faculty of Engineering, Mahasarakham University brought a Delivery and UV sterilization Robot, a temperature measurement robot, and an infusion pump accessory to Dr. Pakpoom Manosittisak, the Director of Mahasarakham hospital to support the works of medical staff during this COVID-19 outbreak.
 
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Keartisak Sriprateep explained how the machines work; the Delivery and UV sterilization Robots, called “Nong Kratip,” is designed to protect the medical staff to avoid the COVID-19 risks if they have to take care for the COVID-19 patient. The robot can be moved and controlled by the remote with the camera. Its functions are not only delivering food, medicine and other stuff to the patients, but also sterilizing itself and the objects around with UV light.
 
Additionally, the temperature measurement robot is able to check people’s temperature, show the result on screen and respond to the users. And the infusion pump accessory is used to connect the infusion pump with smart phone so that the medical staff can control delivering fluids, check the result and see notifications through smart phone from a distance. 
 
Certainly, Mahasarakham University hopes very much that these three innovations can be supported the medical staff to take care of patients with respiratory diseases, and help them to achieve their effective touchless works during this serious epidemic of COVID-19 nowadays.
