Mahasarakham University ranks as the World’s sustainable University among international Universities in the 2019 UI GreenMetric World University Ranking, published by Universitas Indonesia (UI), on December 3, 2019.
 
Mahasarakham University is in the 14th position of the country rank and the 233rd position of the World rank. For this year, Mahidol University ranks the first of Thailand with score 7,350 and Wageningen University & Research from Netherlands ranks the first of the World with score 9,075. Based on the 6 indicators for the 2019 UI GreenMetric World University Ranking, Mahasarakham University scores 5,900 among 37 Thai Universities and 780 international Universities.
