On 23rd April 2015, MSU International Relations Office organized the opening ceremony for its ASEAN Student Ambassadors Workshop which was at Mahasarakham University on April 23-26, 2015. MSU Acting President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supachai Samappito and Assistant to the President for International Relations Dr. Anyarat Natheeraphong warmly welcomed all the participants that includes the P2A (Passage to ASEAN) Ambassadors of the First Media Design School, Singapore, Rangsit University and Mahasarakham University, Thailand.

 

During the 3 - day workshop, Assistant President for Internationalization of Rangsit University, Mr. Jeroen Schedler inspired the ambassadors with his talk on Ambassadorship. Moreover, Mr. Thomas Ee of the First Media design School facilitated the craftsmanship of the ambassadors towards the preparation of the outputs of the workshop.

MSU Assistant to the President for International Relations, Dr. Anyarat Natheeraphong spearheaded the workshop activities that challenged the ambassadors’ skills into Poster presentation and ASEAN Student Ambassadors Handbook making. MSU Student Ambassadors made the workshop lively and fun with their skills in giving the Ice - Breaking activities to all the P2A Student Ambassador participants.

Other activities that all the P2A Ambassadors enjoyed in this workshops were MSU Farm Tour, MSU International Tree Planting, Cultural Presentations and the Bangkok Trip. All the participants were given a chance to equip with Farm Animals Management from the Director, Mr. Noppong Sriart at MSU Farm. Besides, P2A ambassadors participated the launching of the MSU International Tree Planting as the outreach program that supports the MSU Going Green University campaign. The Cultural Presentations of each country also highlighted the farewell dinner to all at the end of the program. The Bangkok Trip also gave them the excitement of Chao Phra Ya River that completed the workshop.

 

ASEAN Student Ambassadors Workshop was made possible in order to build a good rapport amongst the ASEAN Student Ambassadors. Moreover, this event inspired and engaged the student ambassadors in different activities in order to improve their ambassadorship skills as the good representative of their universities.
