Warmest Welcome for the Australian Ambassador, Thailand

Mahasarakham University administration and staff led by acting president, Assoc. Prof. Supachai Samappito gave the warmest welcome to the delegates of the Embassy of Australia in Bangkok led by HE Mr. James Wise, Australian Ambassador to Thailand and Curtin University, Australia led by Prof. David Wood, Deputy Vice-Chancellor International on July 23 , 2014 at the MSU President's Building .

During the meeting, HE Mr. James Wise expressed in his privilege speech the interest in Australian Government to expand the Australian institution in Thailand. Moreover, Prof. David Wood opened the discussions on potential collaboration between MSU and Curtin University. In this potential collaboration, both educational institutions agreed to includes Exchange Student and Joint Research Program due to similarities in terms of curriculum and policies specifically on the environment as Going Green University.

After the meeting, the delegates were been delighted in the campus tour given by MSU administration and the best local Isan hospitality .
