The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, known as HUSOC, is among the older faculties at Mahasarakham University and continues to be one of the most active. The faculty actively and effectively carries out its missions of producing high-quality graduates, providing academic services to local communities, conserving local arts and culture and conducting research for social development.

The faculty includes the departments of Thai & Oriental Languages; Western Languages and Linguistics; Sociology & Anthropology; Geography; and History. The faculty is located in the Rajanakharin Building at the Khamriang Campus.

Overview

The Bachelor of Arts Program in English for International Communications is for those considering a career that requires high-level English Language skills and is unique in focusing on their application in daily life as well as the workplace. The program aims to develop in the individual, a solid foundation of knowledge, attitudes, habits and working, thinking, and problem-solving skills necessary for professional, civic, social and moral life needed for a future profession in today’s globalized world.
