Faculty of Nursing

The Faculty of Nursing at Mahasarakham University embodies the concepts of nursing, health and environment as well as nursing education, nursing research, and nursing practice. We have a firm belief the discipline of nursing is both an art and a science. Established on July 20, 1997 the faculty fulfills an ever-increasing need for trained nursing professionals in the nation’s northeastern region.

The faculty’s primary responsibility is for the education of quality-nursing graduates that meet national standards, conduct research, distribute body of knowledge and develop innovations in nursing, provide academic outreach services, conserve and nurture our local wisdom and cultural heritage. The faculty also promotes human health resource development by conducting studies combining local wisdom with technology, encouraging good health and public healthcare services for people in local communities.

Graduates produced by the faculty will be highly competent clinicians, leaders, researchers, and scholars who are grounded in a sense of inquiry, committed to human caring and highly acknowledged for their superb nursing expertise and performance of duty.
