Faculty of Medicine

Established on November 21, 2003, the Faculty of Medicine at Mahasarakham University is responsible for educating and training a well-selected group of medical students in cooperation with northeastern regional hospitals under the Ministry of Public Health. The faculty offers degree programs in Medicine and in Applied Thai Traditional Medicine as well as offering a PhD program in Health Sciences. The Faculty of Medicine works to produce proficient and ethical graduates in medicine, and medical specialists to serve the increasing demand for better medical-care services in both the local community and the nation. Not only does the faculty aim to train doctors of high quality to serve the community but it also conducts valuable research projects for local, national and international reference.
